Recipe Tips

  • Use moist hands to shape burger: Wet your hands slightly before forming the burger to prevent the mixture from sticking and make even shapes.
  • Don’t press the burger while cooking: Pressing down with a spatula can squeeze out juices, making the burger dry instead of juicy.
  • Cook on medium heat for even browning: Too high heat can burn the outside before the inside is fully cooked. Medium heat ensures a golden crust and tender inside.
  • Let the burger rest for a few minutes: Allow them to sit for 2-3 minutes after cooking to lock in the juices and keep them moist.
  • Use fresh parsley for better flavour: Dried parsley won’t give the same fresh taste. If you don’t have parsley, try fresh coriander or basil.

  • Refrigerate: Place  leftover turkey burger in an airtight container and store them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze: Wrap  leftover turkey burger individually in cling film or foil, then place them in a freezer bag. Store them for up to 3 months. To use, thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating in a pan or oven.
